Contact UsWell, here at Logs Chipping we make things as easy as possible for our valued customer. We only supply local here in the Northwest of England and there are only 4 of us including myself who work in the business, we do everything ourselves from sourcing the material at the forest, processing it through our Firewood splitting machines, seasoning/kiln drying it and delivering it to our customers here predominantly in Clitheroe, Ribble Valley and the Trough, unlike many of our local competitors who are split between supplying nationaly through the 3rd party delivery networks, supplying trade and re - sellers and trying to fit in Joe public in-between - we have tried all this and you end up doing a lot of things not very well so instead we now just focus on offering a good value product to our local domestic customers infact most of our customers have been using us for so long that rather than customers myself, partner and delivery driver actually consider them more like personal friends
We sell both hardwood and softwood, (softwood should not be discredited as a fuel, it burns about 15% faster than Hardwood but burns just as hot and often hotter and usually works out well over 20% cheaper so pound 4 pound is often a better value prduct, go to France, Germany, the Baltic states and they rarely burn anything else, we would urge you to try it .
Here at Clitheroe Logs we really want to differentiate ourselves from any other log supplier in the Ribble Valley area. We know that just trying to quantify sizes, volumes and types of logs can be challenging to say the very least. Then there is the ordering and time slots and how it gets delivered.
We try to incorperate a mix of products and volumes to suit all markets from the person with an old farmhouse with several open fires going all day to the person who has a small designer stove in the conservatory that lights up the fire once a week on a saturday night
Our delivery service - We deliver 6 days per week and try our best to accommodate your individual needs, at the point of ordering we will arrange a delivery day and we will then message you the day before with a rough eta, our driver will also message you on the day so you will have both my number and my driver Gordons number so you should be able to go about your day with out too much disruption.
